yep: go here www.roadsquadron.com/main.htmland click vehicles and don't worry about working on it in progressions - I had to do mine over weeks on end (around 3 months) because.... ahem.... electrical tape is actually a little expensive.... lol but then again I only spent $50 so I doubt I compare. don't worry about asking for suggestions, we've been through it before and we're here to help.

Knowing you like the Death Star theme, I thought you'de be interested in these: I'd say the Geek Squad has the look down right, even if it's not reffered to as the Death Star

Don't be worried or too bummed out about being so cash poor, either. My mother hears me talk about my projects (like my 36 foot long school bus) and all the ways I've managed to "scrounge" stuff for it. Cabinets, paint, seats, plumbing, etc - all miscellaneous "freebies". Check out craigslist.org for stuff. There are versions of that site for all kinds of different locations - and there are sections where people post "free" stuff, as well as for sale, for trade, wanted, etc.
Oh, and don't forget an antenna ball, like the Jack in the Box ones. Like the red and black striped junior sith (a.k.a. "Darth Baul").
MTFBWY - or in your case, the DARK force!

thanx for the words of encouragement!! So far I have made one thing for the car and the other is in the process! I bought some magnetic sheets and cut out a "support" ribbon shape and used stick on letters to say Support the Sith. And my brother had some old star wars sheets that are currently being measured for car seat covers. I'm also going to cut out some rebel emblems to put on the doors to represent how many rebels I've " taken out"..lol.. thanx again mtfbwy

DSGirl- We all do our cars on the cheap- it's the nature of the art form. I have baseball bats and Lego parts on mine. Your job is to make them less noticeable and more Star Wars looking. One of the first things I did was to change my shifter and parking brake. I made the brake lever look like a saber handle: www.shawnandcolleen.com/shawn/Pages/hwing/galleries/crowbar/images/xwing15.jpgI would suggest, if you want to do it on the cheap, going to a bike store and looking at bike handle grips. Especially if they do "low rider" bikes. Like these: www.aztlanbicycle.com/lowrider-grips-goosnecks.htmlThese are my faves, similar to the one I used and very Anakin/Luke looking. PepBoys has a good, inexpensive selection of shift knobs, from $25 to $75. You might want to consider using a "T" handle. like the Death Star firing controls: One thing you can do to simulate the death star surface is just to "patchwork" your car with stickybacked vinyl "panels", which you could then paint on for extra detail. If you want to see if this is an idea you'll like, get some inexpensive black or gray contact paper at Target and try it on for size- you could always peel it up if the effect looks awful or not what you want, and your car's finish would be preserved. I like the idea of the laser dish on the hood., and you'd have to put a "trench" around the perimeter of the car. You could even have toy X-Wings and TIEs and gun towers mounted on magnets, that you could stick on the car when at a show, and it would give a better scale to your car.

I hadn't even thought of that - nice one obi-shawn I've been looking into making one of these: perso.orange.fr/mikafun/TUTORIAL%20VADOR%20ANH.htm(don't worry about the french - there's english in it too) that might be a good cheap way to get a realistic vader hilt for a shift knob.
