The H-Wing is at 219K miles, has been banged around a lot, totaled/salvaged once, is 14 years old, hasn't been in production for 11, and is one of 75K cars in the total manufacturing run... I'm starting to feel like the DeLorean guys when I look for parts. It needs a whole lot of work with the electrical system and other expensive areas failing. I'm not whining, but just want to give you some background. We're looking at at least $6000+ in repairs, easily the cost of a used car, so I'm thinking of "upgrading" to a more recent "in production" car, and maybe seeking a sponsorship. Here they are for comparison and your opinion- I just did the old design in the first links to see if they'd work: Nissan 350z (looks clean, airplane thingypit interior, motorized softtop, okay cargo space, reliable, cheapest) Extensive Carmax gallery here.Mercedes SLK (F-1 looks, Jetsons thingypit interior, motorized hardtop, good cargo space, expensive) Carmax photos of regular car.And cars I'm discarding: Honda S2000 (too small, uncomfortable) Saturn Sky (Very aggressive looking, race car interior, manual soft top, no cargo space at all) Additional design here.Mitsubishi Eclipse (mechanically unreliable) So here are the new designs, based on the Jedi Starfighter from Ep. III- LMK what you like.: The 350z: The Mercedes:

That's some mad illustration skills, Obi! If you're willing to do that to either of those two cars, then my hesitation to paint my Tib just flew out the window and is now bleeding to death somewhere in the gutters of Venice Blvd. I've always thought of red as a rebel color, but the prominence of the imperial logo makes me think they are imperial craft? The paint designs look near-identical. If so, the Nissan is the car I'm wishing I had. I see several a week and they are sweet.

The paint scheme is close on both. hard for me to decide. The Nissan is cheaper and has a softtop, the MB has a hardtop and more cargo space. Both have interesting interiors. The logo you see is the "Old Republic" precursor to the Imp logo; I modeled my designs after Obi-Wan's Jedi Fighter in Ep. III. I'm still a good guy.

I think I like the Mercedes a little better, especially with the hardtop, but I think you'd be better off with the Nissan.
It'll be sad to see the H-Wing fly off into the suns-set -- maybe to a museum (I don't think mine could do it justice)? But the H-Wing Mk II -- wow!

I can't wait to see it. It was a huge inspiration for my plans on the SBAT/i that's in progress. I'll credit you for that any day.
Who does your painting? I'm a professional Aircraft painter, and will be doing mine by hand. If you need some assistance, I'd be glad to.
