So I stumbled across this place through a site that had some dudes rad mitsubishi mirage. This is so legit! I am so stoked on all of these cars! So my name Is Cole. I drive a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution I that i had brought over from Japan. Me and a couple of my friends started our own little Rogue squadron car club in our town. barely anyone gets it haha. but we think we're cool so whatever haha. So there is this in town rally held in a city close to us sponsored by redbull and we are entering my Evo in it. the link for those interested: www.redbull.ca/klunkercarrallyWe are going to make our own orange x wing flight suits and drive around blaring the star wars theme and being all around awesome. But I need some help brainstorming some ideas to dress up my evo like an x-wing or any rebel craft really. Unfortunately my car is actually kind of nice so i really don't want to do anyhing that will be permanent. I will eventually be painting it anyway but i don't really want to run around with a spray can job on an evo for however many months it takes me to save up for a decent paint job haha. is there like.. decent washable spray paint? etc etc anyways here are a few pics of the car, thanks in advance for any ideas and i'm stoked to become part of the community and Road squadron haha

Kinda reminds of the imperial probe droid more than a fighter. But maybe it could easily be dressed into one of the many ships in the newer movies... X-Wing stripes are always in season.
If you don't want to poaint it, your alternative is vinyl masks. There used to be waterproof, self-stick vinyl inkjet sheets. I haven't seen any in a long while though.
For my car, I'm thinking of going to one of those 'car wrap' places and get the lowdown. I still owe too much on it to paint it quite yet. I may want to sell it in a couple more years for better mpg in the city.
First thing to do is photoshop your car with ideas you want to try. Refine them there down to the best one and execute that.
Good luck and post updates as you go!

I agree on photo shopping. I would recomend deciding on a ship and then from there deciding which detail you want where becomes a breeze.

Either go the car-wrap route -around $1K to $2.5K dollars when last I checked- or just get the blank vinyl yourself, cover the car, and paint it up. Maybe you can strike a deal if you promote the wrap company at the Redbull event. Car wraps last up to 5 years, and you can cover windows. How long do you want it to last? Here are some guys in Canada. I gather from the race that that's where you are. You can do a pretty good job with a rattlecan- my whole car -the H-Wing- was painted with spraycans. I used mostly primer, which would work great for you since you plan to repaint with a nice finish anyway.
