First off, apologies to Lisa, who's tried everything to get a hold of me. Being busy in the host city for Celebration means always having to say you're sorry... I've been going nuts with the Rose Parade, USPS mailbox and Stamp unveiling, the "Where Science Meets Imagination" exhibit, and a few C IV surprises we can't really talk about yet. To answer the main question, WE HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED TO DISPLAY AT CELEBRATION IV. Anyone interested in driving out and displaying your vehicle -even if you are new to the group- needs to respond to this thread with: _______________________________ FULL NAME ORIGINATING LOCATION NUMBER/TYPE OF TRAVELING COMPANIONS (Kids, Dogs, Geeks, etc.) VEHICLE NAME VEHICLE TYPE/MAKE/MODEL LINK TO PHOTOS/PHOTOSHOPS OF VEHICLE WILLING TO DISPLAY ENTIRE CONVENTION: Y/N WILLING TO DRIVE IN A PARADE: Y/N _______________________________ LFL is way behind on C IV stuff because of the Rose Parade, but they're catching up. I don't know if we can get the same deal as last time, which was help with fuel money, but I'm hoping. We should all receive at least one "Associate" badge like last time for access to our vehicles. I don't know the limit on how many vehicles we can display, and LFL has final say. But the LA con Center is huge, so we should have some room. Many questions have I for Lucasfilm; ask yours here if you want me to submit them.

Cool! good way to use up the gas in the tank for display purposes, HA! HA! We will be sending photos to your e-mail (as soon as possible) need to figure out how to do it again. Really I need to update the photos to this site of the Falcon. Not sure if I left out anything, but will add, later.

We were planning on making it, regardless of being able to display or not, however, our road trip fund had to be used for an emergency, so we and the 'Phoenix' won't be able to make it. :headhit: Hopefully there will be a Celebration V in the future...
But I wanted to comment on the RV... Nice job, Amy! I especially love the Falcon pics, and Qui-Gon and Darth Maul looking out the top viewport. ;D
As well as the "It's not old... it's Vintage" sticker on the back, I think I'll do something like that for my truck.

I'm planning to be there, but my car (Meerkat Six) will not -- the cross-country drive is just too daunting. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone who can make it -- the cars and people are so much cooler in person. Masterkyp, I'm sorry we'll miss you; I hope I get to see the Phoenix at some point.

The Star Wars Fan Mobile is bloody brilliant! I love the "vehicle may explode for no apparent reason" sticker, and the "Stop Wars" sticker, and Darth Maul's lightsaber on the front, and R2 -- did you make R2 yourself?
For some reason, I'm reminded of a button I saw someone wearing that said "Caution: Fan may start up at any time."

Just wanting to know. For C4, what day do we need to have the cars there? And what time? Can't wait.

My plane leaves in about 3.5 hours. I tried to hide my car in my carry-on bag, but my dimensional stabiliser needs a complete overhaul. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
