The following is absolutely true. I sat down specifically to do some major image editing for the site, which is always the first (and by far the most irritating, by the way) step in pushing a major update to the website. Several minutes into my session, I couldn't help but notice a persistant ratchet-type-sound coming from my tower. As I suspected, that is the sound of a nearly jam-packed 100-Gig hard drive going foom. The good news is that the builders of my glorious 2002-birthday-present-machine took advandage of a built in RAID controller: It is a mirrored drive. Unless the other drive fails (which is incidentally identical in make, model, and burn-time), there will be no data loss which is nice because it would take me quite a long time indeed to do updates if I had to start from scratch. However, next week promises to be productive if I can get a replacement drive before then. Dental surgery will see to that. I apologize in advance if the updates were obviously done while on codeine.

I apologize in advance if the updates were obviously done while on codeine. Hehe... sweeet! Been there - done that. Don't remember much. All I do remember is waking up, class is slighly foggy, next thing I remember I was waking up on the desk at my work. I drove over 30 miles on Vicodin! Weeeeeeeeee! Well, good luck on getting everything working, and (in advance) feel better!
