Before you post any images to a forum thread, take a minute to consider where the image lives. One of the fastest ways to bring down a small website is to inline images on the site in a popular thread somewhere. Every time that thread is opened and viewed, the small site has to serve up the image again. This can cause insane bandwidth overages, and often causes the site to shut down due to unforseen expenses. Also, inlining large images is subtiley rude to forum readers with dialup. For these reasons, if you're going to inline an image here, I'd prefer if it were hosted on a LARGE website (or one that you own and operate), and was of a relatively SMALL filesize. Otherwise, simply adding a link to the file would be preferable. Thanks for reading!

if my noob status doesn't get in the way, might I make a suggestion to fellow road squadron members...
in my sites I use a remote image host called imageshack @ imageshack.us . it is very trustworthy and has unlimited bandwidth.
